● We appreciate a minimum notice of 5 business days for all normal functions;
● Final numbers within 72 hours of function date
● All labour incurred will be charged at a minimum of 4 hours.
● Additional hours will be charged as required.
● Delivery charges may apply
● All prices inclusive of GST
● Special menus including formal lunch and dinner menus can be designed to meet your specific requirements. We would recommend discussing your requirements directly with our Catering Manager.
● Please provide the following information:
○ guest numbers
○ service times
○ menu selection & style of service
○ equipment requirements
○ linen, glassware & speciality equipment required, including flowers ○ special dietary needs
○ location for the Function
Refund Policy:
At “gather by Cater Care”, we are committed to providing high-quality catering that meets your expectations. In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or other remedy if the goods or services we provide:
- Are not fit for the purpose you clearly told us about at the time of booking (e.g., specific dietary needs or event requirements),
- Are significantly different from what was agreed upon (e.g., wrong menu, incorrect quantities),
- Are unsafe or compromised (e.g., spoiled or contaminated food).
What qualifies for a refund or remedy: - Meals that are incorrect or missing, based on your confirmed order, • Food that is not delivered at a safe temperature or in acceptable condition, • Catering that fails to meet specific dietary requirements that were communicated and confirmed by us in writing.
What does not qualify:
- Change of mind after confirmation,
- Dissatisfaction based on personal preference where food was delivered as described,
- Issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer. If an issue arises, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We may ask for photos or additional information to assess the claim.
Cancellations:
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the event are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations within 72 hours may be subject to partial or no refund depending on the preparation status and cost incurred.
We take pride in our service and will always work with you to ensure a fair resolution in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
